Roscoe's new EP ʻWastedʼ, challenges the folk sensibilities established in his debut LP ʻThe Hunting Roadʼ. Produced by John Castle (Gossling/Josh Pyke), ʻWastedʼ steers away from the acoustic sound and lands squarely in a complex blend of folk pop melodies, ambient electronic sounds and orchestral layering.
Drawing inspiration from his extensive travels through over 230 cites across 26 countries, Roscoeʼs music is as expansive and wide-ranging as the landscapes he frequently explores; From riding horses through the desert canyons of the USA, to Jeeping through the jungles of Thailand, to mushing huskies across the frozen plains of the arctic north, Rosoce marries these experiences to his music, and what you get is truly and quite simply, one of Australiaʼs most gifted and diverse artists.
